Carrot Red Lentil and Garam Masala Puree

    A lovely puree to help introduce a new spice to your little one. This puree is a more filling meal for your little one, as the lentils provide lots of healthy protein. The garam masala introduces your baby to new flavours and a spice without heat.  This puree can be watered down into a soup, or it can be enjoyed cold as a dip with crudities

    Carrot Red Lentil and Garam Masala Puree


    • 2 carrots
    • 50g red lentils
    • 1 tsp garam masala

    How to make Carrot, Red Lentil and Garam Masala Purée

    1. Top and tail and peel the carrots, and slice up into 1cm slices
    2. Rinse the red lentils then place in a saucepan with the carrots, cover with water and bring to a boil.
    3. Reduce to a simmer and cook for about 20 minutes until both the carrots and lentils are tender
    4. Blend together with the garam masala until smooth
