    Bacon, leek and potato gratin is a great family favourite recipe for all to enjoy!
    Bacon Leek and Potato Gratin Recipe

    • 2 leeks, (sliced)
    • 1 knob of butter
    • 300ml double cream
    • 100ml milk
    • 2 garlic cloves (crushed)
    • 800g potatoes (peeled & cut into 2-3mm thick slices)
    • 1-2 tbsp freshly grated parmesan
    • Sea salt & black pepper
    How to make bacon, leek and potato gratin
    1. Sweat the leeks in butter for 10 mins, then add the bacon and garlic.
    2. Add the cream and milk and bring to the boil. Season and mix in the potatoes.
    3. Transfer to a gratin dish.
    4. Cover with foil and bake at 180°C for about 50 mins, until potatoes are tender.
    5. Remove the foil, sprinkle with parmesan and bake for another 10 mins, until golden brown.
