2012 Baby Races: National. Organised in partnership with the pre and post-natal fitness experts, Buggyfit, these are a series of 8K events for you to run or power walk with your baby in their buggy. The routes all follow paths perfect for buggies in beautiful parks. There’s an aerobic warm up to start, children’s entertainment and a bumper goody bag when you cross the finish line. You don’t even need a baby or a buggy to take part, the whole family can join in, whether walking or running and older children can cycle or scoot.
The Hop Farm Family Park: Enfield. Towering next door is our Outdoor Play area and Frame where imaginations will run wild with the slides, bridges, towers and much more. Glide around our amazing beautifully restored Victorian Carousel or have a nostalgic Dray Ride with the Shire Horse’s, both will leave you reminiscing of olden times
Visit & Learn: Nottingham. Set in 500 acres of deer park, Wollaton Hall is a Tudor building completed in 1588, it is now the home to the city’s Natural History Museum.
There’s lots to do and see throughout the Summer Holidays and on a daily basis!
Broomy Hill Miniature Railway: Herefordshire. Situated adjacent to the Waterworks Museum, a visit to Broomy Hill on one of our “Public Running Days”, makes for an enjoyable day for all the family. There is plenty of space for parking (it’s free too) and pleasant surroundings to enjoy a picnic.
