Hi that's it really. All my friends babies of same age are standing for short times with support but definately putting some weight on legs.

When I try with my little one her legs just collapse. She won't bear any weight at all.

I had some worries about possible hip problems as 1 leg clicks sometimes and she has uneven creases. I took her to gp who moved her legs around and said all was fine. I thought she would need an X-ray to check if hips ok but he seemed happy.

Any advice/ experience?

I am sure she will get there and all is fine, if you are still worried I suggest going back to you GP or does your practice have a nurse you can discuss your concerns with?

Have you tried a baby bouncer? its great fun for your baby and develops leg strength.

If you are really that worried I would say its best to seek advice from heath care specialist .

If your GP has said that everything is ok they you have to go with that for the time... If your still concerned pop back and ask to see a specialist.

Trudy, your post sounds desperate. If you little one is feeding ok then a quick visit to your doctor is in order, even if there is nothing wrong (which is most likely the case).
