Hi all, I'm new to these forums so not sure if I'v posted on right place sorry if I haven't. My daughter is a month gone 4. She never been able to eat spicy food if she does she is violently sick a couple of hours later. She has a real love for cucumber carrots and ham and eats them all the time. On Saturday night she projectile vommited that day she had her usual golden balls for breakfast, a ham, cheese & cucumber roll then pizza ans chips for tea along with a couple of sweets during the day. The sickness came from nowhere she had been complaining of a sore tummy a few times during the daybwhich isnt unusual as when she needs the toilet she sometimes has a sore tummy, she was just playing with her sister on the floor then was suddenly sick. Within a minute of being sick she was fine playing away again as if nothing had happened. On Sunday she seemed to have a bit of a rash under both eyes but a few patches of the rash under her left eye, she also had the rash on her chest and back of the neck. All through the day she was fine within herself. Although she was more tired than usual, would only eat her breakfast and had a little bit of lunch she refused tea and didnt ask for anything out the fridge or sweets. She was playing as usual and was still her hapoy bright self just more tired but no complains of stomoch ache. About 11pm Sunday night she started again projectile vommiting in bed. She had hardly drank all day either so given that she hadn't had muxh to eat there wasn't much to bring up. She had the same foods as the day before herbusual golden balls cearal for breakfast and a ham roll with cucumber withiut the cheese for lunch which she only ate half of and took an hour to eat. It doesnt seem to be a sickness bug as she is perfect within herself except the extra tiredness and not eating as much. Im thinking she could have developed an allergy to something she ate on bith days as this morning she still has the rash that looks like an allergy rash. After reading online i'm also wondering if it could be acid reflux. Has anyone experiences this with their children? I'm going to rule out one food at a time to see if its an allergy but don't want to rule out acid reflux as yet. With our doctors if you don't have a rough idea of what could be wrong they don't hesitate to send you away and tell you it is a viral infection so I want toget a rough idea of whay could be wrong before I take her. Thanksnin advance |
