Whitby Whale Watching Centre: Harrogate, Scarborough. The Whitby Whale Watching Centre celebrates the whaling industry and the modern day conservation of these amazing animals.

Popular favourites include: Ring-tailed lemurs, wallabies, meerkats, raccoons, prairie dogs, yellow mongoose, river hogs, monkeys, goats and numerous small mammals in Pet’s Corner. Llama Trekking at Old King Street Farm: Herefordshire. Now introduced to the UK, these charming, inquisitive and gentle animals will delight in accompanying you on a walk through the beautiful south Herefordshire countryside. Llamas are not ridden. Instead they are pack animals and can carry thirty kilos, or all you need for a picnic lunch - chairs, table, and hamper. A typical half-day llama trek will start with calling the llamas into the penning area. An incentive (a bribe!) of a mouthful of their specialist feed, perhaps supplemented with some carrot might help!
