I found out last week I'm around 4-5 weeks pregnant. I go to see my Midwife for the first time but I would like some advice. I haemorrhaged (unsure of spelling sorry!) in my womb and I was hospitalised for almost two weeks. I am concerned whether that could effect my pregnancy? Instead of waiting to see the midwife, should I take a visit to the Dr or do you think I may be just over thinking/worrying about it all? I also have low blood pressure and I have read that this could be bad for a pregnancy and this is my first child so I am clueless with what to expect. I am so excited and very happy about my pregnancy but I am, wondering if you could give me any advice on how to keep my baby as healthy as possible, especially between now and me seeing my midwife so I can get advice from her. I have been taking Centrum pregnacare with the right allowance of folic acid and following the dietary advice from on this website and not touching alcohol or any stimulants such as energy drinks and tea/coffee just to remain on the safe side. I have also experienced a little cramping, I did around the time my period was due and every now and then- is this anything to worry about? I have also read that this may be because the egg is implanting in to the womb and its stretching and changing shape to accommodate the fetas.

It'd be great if somebody could reply to this post... Thank you
