Show date: 10th October 2014
Show time: 3pm
The nights are getting longer and it will soon be time for the clocks to go back, whilst it is only an hour difference, it can often affect the delicate sleeping patterns of pre-school children and for many parents this will mean that their children will wake up even earlier than normal. Getting children to bed is hard enough without having to cope with the clocks changing twice a year. Often they don’t understand why it gets light earlier in the morning and why they have to go to bed at a different time.
Watch our live interactive Web TV show, which will discuss bedtime routine research findings, conducted on behalf of In the Night Garden, and where, during the 20 minute show, sleep expert and founder of Millpond Children’s Sleep Clinic, Mandy Gurney will talk about the importance of wind down time and bedtime routines and the simple changes you can implement in the run up to the clocks changing so your children stay in bed an extra hour in the morning.
