When my son turned one week old, I took photos of him with my dSLR. I tried to recreate the makeshift studio the newborn photographer had made a few weeks earlier. I covered his nursing pillow with a plain coloured blanket and placed him on it. I ended up with three photos of him screaming his head off. The next week, I tried it again and continued doing so every week until he turned one.

Hello Small Steps Community! I'm really excited to share a few posts about life with two young kids. I have a 2-and-a-half-year old son and a 10 month old baby. Let me get this out right away: I love to travel with them. I love it so much that I started a blog just to encourage other families to travel. Don't worry; I'm not going to only write about that here.

Yes, the title of this post is deceiving. It makes it seem like I actually want to talk about travelling with my kids. But, I don't.
