Peek-a-Boo Chicks.

Children love pop-up books and peek-a-boo surprises so why not make this simple Easter craft and create set of hatching chicks with fold-open eggs.

Best for kids ages: 3 and up.

What you will require to make the peek-boo chicks. Peek-a-Boo Chicks
  • Coloured paper in egg shapes,
  • Yellow paper chick shapes
  • Glue
  • Stickers 
  • Crayons
  • Googly eyes 
  • Scissors 
  • Paper fasteners
How to make the peek-a-boo chicks:
  1. Cut eggs in half in a zigzag pattern
  2. let your little ones colour and decorate the cut out chicks with stickers. 
  3. Pin the halves together on one side with a paper fastener so you can open and close the egg. 
  4. Glue chicks on the back bottom half of the egg so that the heads are popping up. 
  5. Add some googly eyes and it's done!
  6. Repeat to make a batch of hatching Easter chicks.
