A great introduction to making a home-made soup for all of the family to enjoy.
Ingredients
- 2 carrots
- 1/2 swede
- 1 leek (or any other veg you like)
- 1 small onion
- 1 garlic clove
- butter & seasoning
How to make Warm Vegetable Soup
- Peel and dice the vegetables, heat 1tbsp of butter in a large pan.
- Add the vegetables and soften for 5 minutes, stirring. Cover with water by an inch.
- Season well, then bring to boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked.
- Blend and return to heat if desired.
