Small Steps Cover Star Competition - Congratulations to our latest winner and how to take part in next month’s competition. 

Congratulations to Freddie George Woods who is 5 months old from Cambridge for this fantastic winning photo 'Elf on the Shelf'.  Freddie is our Christmas Cover Star winner. It is lovely to see so many wonderful pictures each month and this cute festive photo really captured the eye of our independent judge.

January often brings with it the worst of the British winter weather; but don’t let that put you off! If it’s too wet for outside play make sure you continue the fun indoors.  If you’re stuck for what to do, check out our Parenting Tips pages for lots of activities and playtime ideas – maybe visit our Recipe pages for some great ‘Baking with your Toddler’ fun! Then grab you camera and get snapping. Send us your cute picture today and your little one could be the next Small Steps Cover Star! 

As well as being the face of our website home page and star of our Social Media sites, your little one will also be the star feature of one of our fantastic Small Steps Newsletters which goes out on email to all members of Small Steps. We will also provide you with a high res digital image of your little cutie featured as our Cover Star so you can print it off and frame it for everyone to see or include in your keepsake or memory box. 

Make sure you’ve registered for our Newsletter to hopefully see your little star featured and to keep up to date with all the latest baby & toddler competitions, offers, recipes and more!

To enter, all you need to do is email us your photo of your little one to [email protected]  Please make sure your picture is of a child aged 0-5. It doesn't have to be a professional photo but please make sure it’s in focus so that everyone can see how cute your little one is. Please make sure you include your name, child's name and age plus where you are from, when sending in your picture.

All pictures must be received by noon on Wednesday 21st January and will all be uploaded to our Facebook album on Thursday 22nd January. PS. Keep an eye on our website Newsfeed too, as before we upload the pictures to Facebook, we sometimes randomly pick some cute photos to share on our website as well.

Once the photos are uploaded onto Facebook, all you have to do then is first let your friends & family know that you've entered and ask them to ‘Like’ our page. Then, to vote for your entry, all they have to do is ‘Like’ your photo by noon on Tuesday 27th January. You can even use the share button on Facebook to help your friends find your entry! Or why not “Tag” your friends and family into your photo as well?

The ten “most liked” pictures along with ten pictures picked by the Small Steps Team will go through to the second round on Tuesday 27th January on our website gallery, where an independent judge will select the winner. The winner will be announced via our website on Thursday 29th January.

• Competition is open to all Small Steps Registered Members.
• If you are not already a Registered Member, by entering this competition you are allowing Small Steps to register your details to become a Registered Member
• This competition is not open to any employees or contractors of Small Steps Media or Premier Concepts Ltd. or any person directly involved in the organisation or running of the competition, or their direct family members.
• If the winner cannot be contacted within one calendar month of the published closing date, the Small Steps team reserve the right to re-draw for the winner.
• Small Steps reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at any time.
